Vertical Blue: Herbert Nitsch Tops Own Record
13th April 2009 : - 38 year old Austrian, Herbert Nitsch, has dived to an incredible 120 metres in one breath and under 4 minutes - an improvement on his World Record dive earlier in the week by an extra 6 metres. Read more
Kiwi Freediver Breaks Freediving World Record
28 year old New Zealander , William Trubridge, has smashed the World Record for unassisted freediving, descending 88 meters (288 feet) and returning to the surface on a single breath of air and without the use of any weight or propulsive assistance.
